Let's Talk About It Oklahoma
Join us for a new book discussion group during August - December as the library proudly hosts Let's Talk About It Oklahoma with a theme of Young Adult Crossover Fiction.
October's visiting scholar is Dr. Karen Neurohr from Oklahoma State University discussing the book True Believer by Virginia Euwer Wolff.
Let's Talk About It Oklahoma is a program of Oklahoma Humanities with generous funding provided by Kirkpatrick Family Fund and the Inasmuch Foundation.
Financial Fitness Classes Offered
Have you ever wondered how to set up a budget, a long-term financial plan or set financial goals? Only about 30% or people do. The library will be hosting a 6-week workshop series in Financial Fitness, open to anyone who is interested. This series is made possible through a grant from Friends of Libraries in Oklahoma (FOLIO), Oklahoma Department of Libraries, and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation through a partnership with the American Library Association.
