The library is excited to announce that the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is launching its statewide literacy program, Read for Adventure, for the third year in conjunction with their generous sponsor, OG&E.

This year features a new book, Juniper’s Butterfly Garden by Autumn Heigle and illustrated by Nadia Ronquillo. The story follows a child’s journey as she learns about monarch butterflies and how she can help conserve this important pollinator. Then you can check out some other great books about pollinators from the library.

Ask at the desk and staff will provide a copy of the book to be read in the library. After you read the book, you will receive a voucher for FREE admission to the OKC Zoo for up to four people (child, adult, or senior). Vouchers are redeemable through June 30, 2021.

See you soon!
