National Library Week

national library week poster with compass and words "libraries lead"

Have you been to the library lately?  Stop by during National Library Week, April 8-14, 2018!

The library team believes that “Libraries Lead” all of us to engaging and enriching lifetime opportunities for learning.  It’s how we get our geek on!  Our goal is to reach all of our customers and help them discover new opportunities to create, explore, and learn!

When you think about the library, does it create a wonderful picture in your head?  Enter our Logo Design Contest and express your idea of what our library represents to you and the community.  We are looking for a logo design for the library and one for the Young Reader’s Edition (Youth) library.  Entry form coming soon.

Have you met the library team?  They want to hear from you!  This week, there are two opportunities to chat with your library faculty and staff.  Enjoy Donuts & Coffee with the Librarians on Wednesday morning, April 11th, from 10:00 AM until Noon.  Can’t make it then?  Stop by the Library Open House on Friday, April 13th, from 3:00-5:00 PM for cake & punch and share your vision and ideas for the library.

It’s Amnesty Week!  Do you have overdue books?  Bring them back during NLW and pay no fines!
