Phase 2.5:  Soft Opening, Short Term Use of Library Space

1.Criteria for this Phase
Officials have authorized a reopening
Gatherings limited to 30 or less
Continued reduction in cases
Must have safety materials available
Not ahead of libraries in local area to avoid becoming a disease vector

2. Entrance to Facility
Use of building open to public for limited access
Front entrance open but side entrance locked with a doorbell in place
Limited number of patrons allowed in at a time
Staff will make appointments for patrons
Request patrons to wear masks when entering facility

3. Hours of Operation
Facility is partially opened
Hours are 10 AM – 2 PM, Monday through Friday

4.Circulation
Curbside service and in-house circulation of physical items
Electronic resources available
Main stacks will be open to patron use.  Staff will circulate items with proper safety protocols

5. Physical Services
Curbside Service
Services by appointment include:
    Employment/Unemployment Assistance
    Social Services Assistance
    Faxing & Photocopying

6. Periodicals
Unavailable

7. Internet Access
WiFi
Computer use by appointment only and limited to two patrons at a time

8. Patron Account Assistance
Via phone, email,  FaceBook & in person

9. Programs
Virtual
Physical kits & packets are possible

10. Materials Handling
Returns allowed via book drop or drop by front door
All items are sanitized and quarantined for 24 hours
